The Ellipse I2PL System is a second-generation Intense Pulsed Light system that is approved by the FDA in America for skin rejuvenation for sun-damaged skins and for the treatment of vascular and pigmented skin disorders.
Intense Pulsed Light in its simplest form is a way of saying short flashes of very bright light. The Ellipse I2PL uses short, safe bursts of carefully controlled filtered light which is emitted from a flash-lamp to treat specific skin conditions. For brown marks on the skin it targets melanin and for treatment of vascular problems i.e. red veins, it targets haemoglobin which causes the redness. In treating sun-damaged skin, both melanin and haemaglobin are treated.
The amount of light and the speed of its delivery to your specific skin condition are exact and precisely controlled by Ellipse’s built-in computer. Unlike some other products on the market, Ellipse II2PL carefully controls the pulse and the amount of energy delivered in the optimal waveband for the treatment. These factors explain why the best possible result is obtained. EllipseI2PL has been clinically proven to be safe and effective and was carefully selected for our clinic by our Dermatologists, all laser experts.
